Public presentation – 10 June (Forest)

Hi @reeflings !

Our first public presentation in June will take place on the 10th, which is a Tuesday evening. The venue will be Salle Miro at Brutopia (Forest), which has been booked.

After all the recent discussions about roles and responsibilities, there should be a lot more clarity around the tasks that need doing to set it up and get it out there. Therefore, tagging:

Finally, as is always the case these days, we really need everyone to step up and spread the word, so that we get a decent attendance at each presentation. There are potentially three other presentations ahead of this one, some of which are (or may end up being) online.

We can’t over-emphasise how important for the project it is to prioritise recruitment at this stage, so thank you everyone for whatever you can do to help the process…

Time to swing into action for the presentation on Tuesday!

I’ll pick up the key for Miro in the morning and come back at 18h30 to open up…

@alberto - can we use the beamer and screen from your place
@Lee - did I understand correctly that you will get the maquette from the architects? Do you need any help with that?
@joannes - will you be there, and if so, can you print a copy of the current plans?
@Dave_Starhawk - will you bring some prestige beers (and I will get Jupiler and juice)?
@ugne - are you printing the registration list, or would you like me to do it?

It would be great to get a few Full Members there to answer questions afterwards, and of course all Associate Members very welcome to attend as well. Here’s a poll to see who will be joining us:

  • Have the plans changed since last time? And if no, who has the prints from last time?

I haven’t been following things as closely as usual, but I think the duplex 3-bedroom has turned into a 2-bedroom and a studio since then. @els - can you confirm this?

yes, it has changed, but we didn’t get an update of the plans yet, though we had this layout on a previous version of the plans…

I don’t know what @lee is planning in her presentation: leave the 3 BR there and say it has been changed, or going back to old plans for ground floor and first floor of Asterix…

The 2BR on Asterix first floor is already on the plans that we received on 3 June. The one thing we are still waiting for is a new design for A1, but as this is unlikely to be for sale it shouldn’t be the end of the world.

The changes to the plans are dated, in Team Building > Plans: Login – Nextcloud

if i look at the plans, i still see the duplex 3 BR in Asterix (or am i losing it)?

Ha right, the stairs are still there. Anyway, it doesn’t matter much. The first floor will most likely look like that, or else like Mieke’s apartment.

@reef-recruitment - I’ve updated the Excel calendar ahead of Tuesday’s presentation, including deadline dates. I guessed those for the previous online presentation, as the slide deck had already been adjusted.

@reef-communitylife - could you add the dates in July for Stammtisch and Stammtag…

@els - would you like to do an online Q&A with me on the 17th, which is a Tuesday and the deadline for filing in the EM survey?

@Lee - do you want to add an NVC training?

ok for the 17th. We have a meeting with the architects before, but that ends normally at 19:00 or sooner, so i don’t see an issue with that
