Our next public presentation is scheduled for next Thursday, November 27th, at our regular venue: Salle Miro at Brutopia (Forest). The space is booked, paid (if I am not mistaken @Alberto) and the registrations are picking up.

The regular communications materials should also be brought : flyers, the maquette, stickers, the copy of the plans…
Please help spread the word by sharing our posts on social media and doing your second tour of the flyers route.
Beyond the tasks, these presentations are a great occasion for us to meet, have a drink, and catch up with each other and potential new members.

With the Helping Circle Samenhuizen Trefdag we quickly discussed the issue of people not being able to make it for the presentation, and our proposal would be that those who can’t make it for the presentation, but who are genuinely interested, will be invited to leave us their email address, and then left the possibility to become an Exploring Member with the group of 27/11. Would that work for you @reef-recruitment?
For the maquette. We can go and get it, another possibility is to keep it after the samenhuizen trefdag, but that means that liesbet will need to hold on to it and come to the presentation by car. @Liesbet : how do you feel about this?

Hi @els, I don’t have room to keep the maquette at my place. Already for the Samenhuizen Trefdag it is complicated to store it at my place on Friday but I’ll manage. But I can’t keep it for a week. Sorry!
No problem Liesbet. I checked with @Odile, she will take the maquette after the Samenhuizen Trefdag. And I will fetch it next Thursday during lunchtime at her place to bring it to the Presentation in the evening.
Unfortunately, I’m working all day and most of the evening, so I can’t be of much help.
Dave has agreed to take care of the bar, and I’ll be able to give him the kitty and leftover stock beforehand.
I think Miro still closes at 12h30 or 13h on Thursdays, for getting the key. If you’re really stuck picking it up, I could probably do that in the morning, but then someone else would need to get it from me in Uccle during the afternoon.
For the record, the things to pick up from Alberto’s place beforehand involve:
the projector (make sure there is an HDMI cable in the box)
the screen (there are two in the cupboard, and it is the one in the box)
a multiplug
an extension cord
Also, remember to take a photo of how the room is set up at the beginning before dismantling it.
