I prepared the budget for TB (TB/Estimation budget TB)

hi @reef-building

when talking to Lee yesterday, she indicated that 3hours/month doesn’t seem a lot.
I had also a feeling it was rather on the low side.
Sarah said she thought it was rather on the high side.

I prefer to raise it:

  • if we don’t need need it, we don’t use it, and that’s it
  • if we don’t foresee enough, we will need to ask the group to aprove the extra budget needed
  • this is a rather minimal cost
  • i didn’t take into account that mail interaction also comes at a certain price (which isn’t absurd)

I also updated Mark’s rate…

@ugne : for the budget for the coaching by mark: not sure if this needs to be paid by the asbl or the société, i leave it up to team finance to decide this…

I find 3h/month very low. I would go for 15h/month, which will allow Marc to stay up to date on what’s going on with The Reef and make it less ad-hoc. I think the value for money will be excellent.

This makes for 3 hours per week, which is time nobody seems to have, not us, not him. At the rate he charges, this is also a cost that I will want to question. I’m all for getting his advise and consulting as much as it can be useful, but 15 hours seems like a blank check that I will find difficult to endorse.

Rediscussed shortly, we decide on 6 hours/month, is that acceptable?

It seems way too much to me, but I don’t have the energy for it. It’s fine.
