The summary produced by Fathom is a good report of our conversation, listing all the actions point. It requires one click to access it. My feeling is that we are being as transparent as we should be.
Ok, let me turn it into a request then. I fully respect team autonomy, and at the same time it really matters to me that things are as efficient as they can be.
The meeting minutes on the app that you use only show me two lines at best:
This makes it difficult to me to read fast, and to get my head around the full text (my brain is not neurotypical). In addition, if I want to catch up on several meetings at once, I need to open several links.
Finally I imagine we don’t know how long the text on these web pages will last, whereas if we have them on Nextcloud, we are sure it won’t disappear.
So I repeat, I really want to respect team autonomy, and at the same I really need to take care of how I use my time, and so I was wondering whether your note-taker would be willing to copy/paste a copy of the text into the minutes document. It would greatly meet my need for ease.
[please imagine I’m clinging the tingsha bells] I can propose that one of us, after each meeting, copy paste the minutes into the official meeting’s document and that this task rotates among the members of team external, except Joannes, who anyway has too much on his plate as team coordinator. I will do the first one - as a son as I can manage to sit down and also draft the report on the membership survey hopefully before the end of the weekend (Monday at the latest).
Thanks a lot Maria!
Thank you, indeed.
Just as a possible source of inspiration for changing the message on our flyer, here’s a picture of poster I came across the other day. It says “I feel lonely in my street” and “Can alternative living be a solution?”.
A report from the workshop today can be found here and the pictures on the same folder. @joannes @manuelpueyo and @Odile may I please ask you to take a look. I hope I reflected everything correctly, but just in case.
Yesterday’s workshop went well and generated new insights. First and foremost, we met the stated goal of creating a briefing for the copywriter and the visual designer. We also have a rather aggressive schedule that takes us to going live with new materials on Friday 11 July. I invite @Liesbet and @Angelika to have a look at the report of the workshop (thank you, Maria). Can you commit to working on this schedule? Where do you need help or instruction? Let’s discuss tonight at the standup.
Thank you for your report Maria ! Good record of what was discussed yesterday
Thanks a lot, I checked it!
If possible, I would like to get to the design still today. I have a work event abroad coming up where I need to go during the weekend and plans for other evenings. So I would like to dedicate some time this evening. If there are any more hints re: the design, do let me know.
Angelika and I are meeting this evening.
Dear all,
You may find a document with links to two Canva proposals here: Login – Nextcloud
Curious what you think!
Thanks a lot Angelika!!
thank you Angelika!
Angelika, thanks! This is progress! We’ll discuss in team External on Monday and request feedback from team Recruitment & Onboarding.
@reef-recruitment do you have any comments or preferences on Angelika’s designs? Liesbet is working on copy in parallel. We’ll integrate visual & copy for review on the plenary on the 25th.
I would replace the “dummy” pictures on the interior by illustrations that portray families, seniors…people
Dear @reef-external and @reef-recruitment: I made a proposol for the new leaflet, which you can find in this folder: Login – Nextcloud.
I’d be very happy to receive your feedback by Friday 20 June 2025 - 1 pm to improve the leaflet and make it more attractive!
You can make comments in the document.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Liesbet, I have made quite a few comments mostly because I think there is technical info from the blueprint missing and I find it very relevant. Of course open to debate it On the hashtags for social media, I have been using the classics “cohousing, cohousingcommunity, habitatgroupe, etc.” and some of them I will definitely incorporate (sociocracy!) but the long ones, the ones that are built like a sentence I personally find difficult to read and I think they lose any added value because people do not make such long searches.
It takes a village — we are building one
Become part of a resilient community where families thrive and children run wild
thank you @Liesbet i’m playing a bit with chatgpt
