Nadia and I will be flying in from Italy, but after 32C3 we’ll head home to Brussels, which is close enough for overland transport.
The SCNB website offers several options. The cheapest train option costs about 50 € per person and is not bad:
- 12:46 Hamburg HBF == IC ==> 16:25 Duesseldorf HBF
- 17:00 Duesseldorf HBF == bus ==> 19:55 Antwerp Central
- 20:10 Antwerp Central == IC ==> 21.02 Bruxelles Midi
Eurolines has overnight buses for 60 € per person. You leave from the station at 22.30, get to Bruxelles Nord at 7.00 the next morning.
The very cheapest solution is found at meinfernbus.de. For 33 € each you can take a bus at the Central Bus Station at 9.15 am and get to Bruxelles-Nord at 18.30.

Note: last year CCC had a discount deal with Deutsche Bahn. The relevant info is not online yet this year, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
