Hello @reef-full, this is to let you know that the UBO registry for Coral Reef is now complete. To access it, go here:
https://www.minfin.fgov.be/ubo/
You will need to login to MyMinfin. Members of the board of Coral Reef can log in as representatives of Coral Reef; other Reeflings can look at this instruction manual to learn how to visualize the UBO registry (choose Demande de consultation d’une entité).
The UBO registry records all adult members of households who contributed to the capital endowment of Coral Reef. For each one of us are recorded the share of the capital (1 EUR contributed = 1 share) and the share of the voting rights (1 household = 2 votes, even if the household purchases more than one unit).
The calculation of capital contribution and voting rights was done here (thanks @els).
Ping @RichardB for his dealings with Triodos, this was one of their questions.
Please note. The attribution of shares of voting and capital rights in the UBO registry is only approximated. This is because its software does not allow entering the absolute value of votes and shares, but only their percentage value: we can only enter 3.33333333333333
as 3.333
. Over 20+ beneficiaries, these approximations add up, and create small discrepancies. How we solve for these is that
- We attribute to each partner the true values of capital participation and voting rights, which are computed in this spreadsheet starting from the absolute numbers.
- Except for the last member to join, who carries the adjustment to close to 100%. At the time of writing, this means @LuciaM, who is written as having slightly more voting rights and slightly less capital participation than she really did. This does not matter, as her real rights are determined, for voting rights, by our statutes; and for capital contributions, by our accounting. I am writing this to document the imperfection.
