Hello @reef-full , I come to you with a request for consent to an unforeseen expenditure. It concerns Coral Reef’s FreeAgent account. We had budgeted, like last year, 99 EUR. In fact, we have been billed 198 USD (about 192 EUR), so the unforeseen part of this expenditure is 93 EUR.
This is because last year we benefited from a first-year 50% discount. It is totally my fault that I did not check this when we were budgeting, and just assumed we would pay the same as last year. Apologies!
I do not see easy alternatives to just gritting our teeth and continuing. The more stable our accounting system, the simpler and more transparent our books. The good news is that Coral Reef has only three more years to go, and then we will hopefully close it down and also close the Freeagent account.
Again, let’s give us until Friday 5th December, after which consent will be assumed. If you do give consent, please heart this post. If you do not, please speak up.
