I request the group’s consent to spending 99 USD for a yearly subscription to FreeAgent (accounting software) for Coral Reef SoSim.
The price includes a 50% discount on new accounts and a 10% referral discount.
Why it is unforeseen
A couple of months ago I formed the opinion that Coral Reef should take on only one function, that of overseeing the construction of The Reef. All the other activities around the cohousing (including recruitment, facilitation, logistics and IT services) should stay with the longer-lived The Reef ASBL.
This was not clear at the time of the budget, and so no provision was made for this expenditure. However, it is not an additional cost for the group: at the time, I thought it would be a cost for the SoSim, whereas now I would prefer for it to live in the ASBL. The cost is the same.
