Wellbeing in Europe: Why participate? Opportunities for active participants

Hei hei, wow, great! Are you around Brussels?

Uf, that’s a lot of time to cover
So last year we did a few workshops in the focus countries in this project - Czechia, Poland, Serbia to tease out the issues people care a lot about and what are the ongoing problematics with respect to their governments. Each conversation had different focuses, from employment, housing rights, and entrepreneurship. We are still waiting for the ethnographic reports to be able to reflect more on each issue.

Otherwise this year POPREBEL shifted towards a more international conversation that is happening much more in English - we focused a lot on how different people saw their work affected during covid times, how co-working spaces could become new infrastructure for remote work at scale, food entrepreneurship, and the problems of the 21st century higher education. For each we hosted online sessions to support the initiators to figure things out with others.

Do you have anything that you’re confronted with these days…?
We’ll be organising more online events in the fall to gather input and advice on challenges people around us are experiencing… like a community response. It’s really an ongoing call - you can see the upcoming events here.

Anything interesting?
