We actually have an idea with Matthias on how to foster and encourage storytelling and news-exchange between the villages - and it will be based on our Raspberry Pi proposal. People could simply record, write down, document whatever they find interesting in any form and put it on usb sticks that would come along with the little server - and could later on travel with them to nearby cities or villages and exchange news this way. Citizen journalism for everyone.
Then we could integrate it into professional writing and finally bring the remote stories of Nepal to the center of attention - or even shift the center of attention towards multiple centers
