After carefully reviewing all the events’ proposals submitted on the Edgeryders platform, we announce that we have preselected the following three events proposals:
- From Egypte: “Career Shifitig Event in Suez canal region.” @mohamedkhaled2511
- From Tunisia: “Smart city challenge” @Ahmad1
- From Tunisia: “AI Hack for real environmental problem: Sea Turtle Rescue” @Meds.jedidi1 and @sirine_bouslama
During the selection process, the members of the selection committee have attributed a higher score to the events proposals respecting the following selection criteria :

The social-environmental impact of the event

The number of direct and indirect beneficiaries

The potential possibility of the project duplication in another city/ country
-
The engagement of the project team members in the discussions on the platform and the quality of their interactions.
This decision does not cast doubt on the added value of the other projects, and this goes without saying that the Edgeryders community is open for future collaboration.
This Saturday at 4 pm CET, The preselected teams are kindly invited to join the Online Lab to refine their events proposals.
During the online Lab, each preselected event leader will have 10-15 minutes to present his event calendar progress and needs. Together we will set up the next steps.
By the end of the Lab, project leaders will resubmit the final project proposal for final approval.
Please note that only two projects will be approved.
The lab link will be sent by private message to the team’s members of the preselected project.
