Community as a Crucible for Citizen Science submitted

Over the last few months, various members of Edgeryders’ network have been collaborating on a proposal to the Horizon2020 call Exploring and Supporting Citizen Science as a part of the Science With and For Society work programme.

We have just submitted the proposal, which if awarded will see a groundbreaking citizen science project unfold across the biology of urban farming, experimental economics and ethnography. This is an exciting opportunity for Edgeryders and our partners to take the lead in open science practices that can shift the societal impact of inclusive and multidisciplinary sciences, promote science literacy as well as ethical data and collective authorship processes.

May I take this opportunity to acknowledge the vision and hard work of @alberto @muredduf @cindys @winnieponcelet @luciascopelliti Rosanna Giovanni Anders Viola @JasperB @lucy @rachel and others in getting this unique proposal across the line :tada:

Thanks to everyone for putting together such a fantastic beast of a proposal. From our little corner of it we really appreciate the immense amount of work everyone has put in and are already really happy to be a part of it  Hoping we get funded!

any news?
hi to all!!

Hi @rachel. One stage H2020 grants take approximately five months for results so we anticipate news around mid-September. That being said, historically announcements can also be made before summer kicks in so we’re hoping we hear more like early/mid July. Rest assured we’ll share news once we know
