I have heard a couple of people comment on the need for a new poster, and I would like to propose to get the work started on that.
The way I picture it, it would be something in the style of the new leaflet and the new website. Printing in different formats seems recommended: A3 for private windows etc, A4 and A5 for message boards (e.g. in bio-shops, workplaces etc). The former might require a small budget in the Q3-4 budget (currently still with @reef-external), while the latter might be something that quite some people could print at work themselves.
@Sterre or @Wenwei would you have space and enthusiasm to dedicate your Canva skills? If not, no problem of course, we might also find someone who can work magic with Microsoft Paint .
As the idea is to intensify the flyering, it seems like a pitty to send people on their way with only flyers if they could also carry around posters at the same time. Anything that could speed up the process is therefore very welcome IMHO. Done is better than perfect.
Before anybody would start a new project on Canva though, could somebody please invest some time in providing access to all Reeflings? I’m not an expert, but ChatGPT tells me it should be possible to share the files with our Protonmail account?
Hello @Lee, I made an account with the Proton mail and gave this account access to the existing Canva documents that we have worked on for the flyers. There are also some other files available (banners, images for the website).
Login is with the Proton email and a code that is being sent to that email.
I will first finish with the website, only then I will have time for the poster. If someone else wants to give it a go in the meantime, by all means. Otherwise I’ll get to it as soon as I can.
Some of the bio shops I did could have a poster. Some can have an A4/A5 and should, as there is a whole wall with posters so they would jump out better, by their size. Some of the Fárms I did have a ‘flyer’ place and a poster place, but the flyer places are really messy, it’s like Mieke’s 2 little kittens had a go at it, and they do clear the flyers from time to time, so I think better to hang a poster there (and maybe some flyers).
But at some places A4/A5 is just too big. I would go for the flyer format but have maybe the QR code on it, and maybe ‘simpler’ design than the flyer. Point G of Route 1, might allow a smaller format hanging on there glass door so even when the shop is closed, people could see it. I personally very much like one of the older versions: i saw one hanging up today: it jumps out/ catches the eye.
On the flyering list, I’ll make it possible to indicate whether a location has room for a poster. I can also print them on my copier, once they are done.
personally i wouldn’t put the available units on the posters, as this is bound to change and i wouldn’t want to replace all the posters as soon as we have sold a unit. Would mention: ‘only a few units left’.

i doubt between the second and third one. I think my preference would be the second one as I think the third one contains too much text/the main message ‘Cohousing in Jette’ is not apparant enough with all the text around it.

I like the second one, and I agree with Els her points. Maybe instead of listing the units, list the cohousing aspects: 1150 m2 shared garden, guest room, atelier, multifunctional room…

Thanks for all the work! I don’t want to intervene in the choice process, but I did want to offer the idea of just printing several versions. As long as they respect the same visual identity, why not experiment a bit and just a few different versions (also maybe in function of their size)? Not meaning to give you more work of course, just figured it might be a way out to make it more agile. Just an idea of course.
My idea is that I can already print some A6, A5, A4 and a few A3 on my end and share with reeflings next meeting. Later on, we can have the poster printed on an online print shop with thicker paper. What do you think ?

Are we printing more brochures? Personally, I am more inclinded to print different sizes of double sided flyers ( can be used for posters ) rather than keeping the brochures.
Before you print it, can you please wait for @els or myself to confirm the size of the garden? I have a suspicion that the 1150 m² got subject to my own way of doing calculus that is not always understood by the rest of the world , so I would like to check that first.

Looking at the file on the rapport d’incidence (Login – Nextcloud), I would start from the total surface (1849 m²) and then subtract the surfaces of the buildings and of the private gardens (2 x 29 m²) I land on 1021 m². Thoughts?
1849 -
Idefix: 188 m2 -
Asterix: 275 m2 -
Obelix (including parking space) : 355 m2 -
Bike space next to parking: 22 m2 -
private gardens = 2x29 = 58 m2
= 946 m2 , more or less same result
