Following up to last week’s meeting with the architects (see Meeting with architects 28/01/2025), there are three small decisions that we need to confirm.
In this post you will find the questions and the proposed way forward. If you have any objections, please react to this post by Wednesday 05/02 before the plenary starts.
1. The size of the underground

Question from the architects: are you ok to keep the size of the underground as it is?

Proposed reply: yes

Reasoning: making the underground bigger would bring about a risk to the neighbours’ walls (or something like that), and it would also come at a significant cost (as we have seen in the first feasibility study). This is more a “validation by the client” kind of question than a real question.
2. 3BR apartments in Obelix

Question: it would be better for the interior design possibilities (FR “aménagement”) to reduce the terrace from 10 m² to 8 m². Is this ok?

Proposed reply: yes

Implication: the pricing of the 2 m² changes (from terrace price to casco interior price)

Reasoning: improving interior design possibilities trumps terrace size.
3. Privatised hallway for the Idefix +2 apartment

Question: it would be better for the interior design to privatise the hallway (so that the inhabitants can cross from the living room to the master bedroom, instead of having to go around). The extra cost would be 3000-4000 euro (for a door, a lock on the elevator etc). What would you prefer?

Proposed reply: leave it to the future buyers (@RichardB and @MariaAM), who would like this option.
This question also brings a question about pricing. The proposal from the architects and from the Coordination Team is to add the price of this option (3000-4000 euro), but to not add the extra square meters to the total payable square meters of that unit.
