@reeflings The ad on Immoweb is now live. Here is the link:
I moved the post, so that we can keep things by topic. This makes it easier to retrieve things afterwards.
I may move some other posts later on.
Thanks Manoj!
Is there several ads or just this one?
Because if it’s just the one, then it might be better to not put the number of rooms and price if you can, because people will use filters on price and number of rooms, and might miss the ad…
This should be an option for newly-built projects:
Although then you might exclude people not specifically looking for a new project… But they might not be interested anyway given the price difference…
Our first registration for the presentation through Immoweb yesterday. Yay!
@Sarah great points. Thanks.
Almost all form fields on Immoweb are closed ones with only pre-defined options to choose from. I wanted to put a range in terms of number of rooms and price, but the system didn’t allow. I then put the information in the description.
The ad we posted is the simplest version available on Immoweb. I noticed intitally the ads like the one you shared but they are from agencies and they have a separate page on Immoweb. Of course they are much more detailed with multiple apartments/properties advertised but my understanding is that these options would be expensive. However, I have written to them asking the details, prices, etc. Will keep everyone posted!
Hi @Manoj,
I try to find the ad without having the url and I don’t see the ad popping up when you look at Jette. It isn’t indicated on the map either. Can I have a look into the settings why it is not on there or do you know why it is not on there?
kind regards,
Sure. The credentials are stored inside Team IT> Login Credentials here:
We should definitely see how to impove the ad. May be adding more relevant photos, more details, etc. would help.
I tried to do a search by putting Jette/3-bedroom as criteria. Our ad appears in the list (and on the map) but not on top. In my understanding, this could be partly because of their ranking algorithm. Our ad is the most basic one and they charge more to get more visibility. The other reason could be the above factors.
Here are the ranking rules of Immoweb:
The access details of Immoweb have changed. Plese refer to login details under Team IT > Login Credentials on Nextcloud. Here is the overview of the access details and responses received so far.
-
I had requested Immoweb to change the email ID (where we receive responses) from my email ID to cohousing@thereef.brussels). They have confirmed the change and we now receive all enquiries on this mailbox. I don’t receive any enquiries in my personal mailbox anymore.
-
Before this change, I received 3 enquiries in my personal mailbox. All of them are from real state agents. I have forwarded these 3 emails to cohousing@thereef.brussels.
-
There is one enquiry from an individual that is received on cohousing@thereef.brussels. I have sent a reply from the same mailbox.
-
The response so far hasn’t been very encouraging. The ad can be further optimised by putting more relevant photos, other details. Please share any feedback/suggestions on this thread.
Hey @Manoj !
I can see these all arriving in the Reef’s email inbox on April 10… am I right in thinking that they all need a reply?
Was this the email you sent to vincent.tm, also on 10 April?
And finally, there is a new email yesterday that come in via Immoweb… is it Team R&O replying to these, or is someone else already looking out for them? No wrong answers…
Thanks for checking this!
They are from real estate companies (commission based). I am not sure if we would like to engage with real estate agents/companies.
Right. I sent this response informing about the next presentation. We can send another updated email.
I can resume this activity once i am back from vacation. Can someone from team external reply to these emails coming from Immoweb with information about upcoming presentations?
All clear mate!
I can do that, as I’m on email duty for Team R&O at the moment…
Thanks Chris
