We have informed our buddy Mieke that @Axel and me decided to not apply for full membership. We know that it is disappointing news and we are sorry for the inconvenience we cause you.
When you are interested in the reasoning behind our decision, please feel free to ask us.
We are so grateful for the openness with which you have welcomed us, for the time you invested in us, for the willingness to respond to our questions and for the structure you follow.
Even though we are not going further as full member, I wonder if you have a role for a Reef-Supporter? That means someone who will not become an inhabitant but wants to support your project by taking action. I was busy as a member of team external to look up and visit places to put some flyers. I will continue to do that and I will keep sending out emails to people I know that might be interested. I want to lead people to your project. You can reach me via Signal and assign me a task so I can continue to help.
We remain close to Jette and we hope to see you in the future.

I think the Reef is very well organised, which I think is a must for such a big project. I will gladly join some teams and contribute where I can!

Very sorry to see you go! I know how much you wanted to join a cohousing, so I am imagining this was a very painful decision?
In any case I’d like to clarify that you are not causing us any inconvenience. We are choosing to give our new members the time to get to know our project, so that they can make an embodied decision. It’s a very big life decision, and it really needs to be a hell yes to create lasting happiness. You gave it a try and somehow it didn’t fit, and that’s fine. No inconvenience caused 
.
That said we are always grateful for people who want to help us out, especially on the PR front. If you need more flyers, feel free to let us know. For the rest, if you keep your email notifications for Edgreryders on, I reckon Team External can ping you whenever there is something you could do. Just to mention one thing: did you see that we now have an account on LinkedIn? (just a suggestion of course - I myself for example can’t mix my professional persona with The Reef)
Anyway. Looks this is not the end of the story, and we’ll see each other again!
