Team External -- general communication 2026

@reef-external

The architects confirmed, O8 is a 2 BR.

So now we have as free units:

  • a 1 BR (O3 ) on first floor of Obelix
  • a 2 BR (O8) on third floor of Obelix
  • and 2 3 BR (the maisonettes) in Idefix.

Can you do the necessary updates (samenhuizen, insta, facebook, newsletter,…) to boost the registrations of the upcoming presentation?

Hello @reef-external,

The Samenhuizen issue that I flagged a week ago doesn’t seem trivial to me. Can you please let us know what you think is going on here and how you are going to address it? TIA!

I posted that on Facebook, Insta and Lindedln.

Hi @Lee , our analysis is that going from very few to zero subscriptions via Samenhuizen is not abnormal, given the fact we now only mention the big units (last weeks only the 3-bedroom units; now the 3-bedroom units and the 2-bedroom unit).

Samenhuizen has never been a major factor, so we think it is more effective and efficient to focus on the channels that generate more leads (mainly facebook and flyers).

Nevertheless we continue to advertise on Samenhuizen (and on Habitat & Participation as well).

If you have any ideas on how to improve the ads, let us know!

hi @reef-external / HC outreach (@Lee )

The presentation yesterday was a success, :crossed_fingers: some people will apply to become EM

For the next presentations, it doesn’t look so good yet, but we still have 3 weeks to get those registrations up.

  • 30/06 (miro): 2 registrations so far
  • 14/07: 3 registrations so far

Hi @els , FYI: the weird thing about Habitat & Participation is that when we modified adds, e.g. we change the add of 21 May into an add for 30 June, it sometimes changes back to the old title. I don’t understand how this happens, but it happend already several times. So thanks for the alert!

If we delete the old add, and create a new one, it needs approval from a person of Habitat & Participation. Sometimes they disapprove adds because they don’t always understand that the different adds are about different dates.

Hi liesbet,

you can find it via the google forms that are accessible with the reefs gmail account (login can be found in the it folder: Login – Nextcloud

Following it up a bit the last few weeks, and from what i heard from the people coming to the presentation yesterday:

  • flyers: mainly in Jette, or surrounding communes
  • news letter: so would be great to have one send out this week
  • social media
  • Habitat and Participation

Hi @els ,

@manuelpueyo will send out another newsletter asap. Lee proposed to also mention the 1-bedroom appartment. But still we aim to focus on the bigger units (2-bedroom appartment and the 3-bedroom maisonnettes).

@Odile will make new post on social media.

The adds on Habitat & Participation (as well as on Samenhuizen) are up to date. The adds can be found twice:

Hello, dear @reeflings , it turns out flyering in Jette pays off. It makes sense: People with kids are often attached to their neighbourhood because they have built up a whole network there: nursery, school, friends, hobbies, and so on. If they can continue to live in their neighbourhood, they might well be inclined to move into a cohousing ….

But !

I cannot do all the flyering in Jette myself, not in a short term. Is anyone willing to do flyering in Jette as well? That would be great!

The routes can be found here: Brussels Bioshop Delivery Routes

Jette is Route 1

Please note down where you dropped flyers in this thread: Flyers dropping - #244 by els

Hi Liesbet, do I understand correctly that route 1 is too big/ too much for you?

If so, can it maybe be subdivided in subroutes that can be attributed to other reeflings and it is clear who does what?

In the short term I don’t have time to do consistent flyering. I can drop flyers here and there whenever I pass by, which is mainly at Au Rayon Bio, The Barn (Jette) and Róka.

I don’t even have flyers, I was hoping to get a bunch next Monday but I understand now the plenary is canceled.

i think you can always drop by at @joannes or @Lee to pick up flyers if you don’t have any left.
And maybe do a call to take over route 1 (as that wasn’t clear to me, from your request)

Let me know if you’d like to split the Jette route in two. Can do.

Of course I could go and pick up flyers - I just don’t have the time for that for the moment.

I’d be already very happy if someone would take over part of tour 1; it is huge. I’ll do another call.

Dear @reeflings, would anyone be willing to take over route 1 (either fully or in part) and do flyering in Jette and surrounding communes in the short term? I don’t have time for it at the moment.

The goal is to attract as many people as possible to the next presentations: June 30 and July 14.

I said I will object to not mentioning O3 it in the newsletter, because I think this is not acceptable towards @Chantale, and I am not planning to let go of this.
