Hello @reef-governance,

As much as I appreciate the initiative of having prepared the agenda, for this first meeting I think I would have like a little more co-creation to kick off this new start.

As for myself, these are the topics that I would like include in this agenda or one of the next ones:

  • Selection of the Team Leader: consent

  • The team’s domain and what is expected from its members: shared understanding

  • How to fit in the asbl Board in our goverance system

  • The circle structure: is it important? If yes => task attribution

  • A possible alternative to “do what you said you were going to do or ask help” => “all tasks are taken up on a voluntary basis, early renegotiation of the deadline is mandatory” => exploration

  • Organising refresher sessions on “participation means power”, “power and responsibility” and on The Reef’s governance system: planning + task attribution

  • How to bring in more evaluation and feedback: how can our team contribute to that? => exploration

  • I was also thinking that the agenda i set up a few weeks ago, should be adapated.

  • So definately fine to co-create the agenda.

  • I am also open to the topics you propose, but i am afraid for timing. We agreed to keep the meeting to one hour. I am personally open to increase it to 1,5 hour, i don’t know how about you (sophie and lee)?

  • Probably too short notice and more for a next meeting: is the proposal you suggested in this post: Adapting recruitment till we have clarity on the left-over units - #14 by Lee

  • In a previous version of the agenda: you also suggested to consent on a proposal concerning: Proposal on taking on tasks and responsibilities. I guess this is linked to

  • A suggestion: we don’t live that far from each other. I wouldn’t mind going to either of your places to have the meeting in person rather than online. But feel absolutely free to say ‘rather not’, not a big deal.

Happy to extend! And generally not against meetings in person but I won’t be able to accomodate travelling time etc tomorrow.
