I took the liberty of starting a new thread for a new year 
As I mentioned in another post, the venue is confirmed for the next public presentation on 29 January. I am going to make a separate thread for the organisation of that, as we usually do. I’ll also start a thread for managing the buddy pool during the exploring membership phase, so that we can ask everyone to anticipate blocking as much time as possible to devote to buddying during that period.
With regard to the current group of Exploring Members (Pagona/Jaime, Joke/Axel and the waiting list), at the last Team R&O meeting we established the following timeline:
- Today, I contact everyone in this group
- They are invited to be an observer at the plenary of 15 January
- Their deadline for applying for associate membership is 22 January
- We schedule a team meeting for 23 January, which is open to all Full Members, to address the potential applications
I have drafted the message to Pagona/Jaime, and I think it would be good to send it to Joke/Axel as well (even though Mieke is meeting with them on Wednesday), just to be sure that everyone has the same info.
There are two things I want to double-check though:
First, I’ve said that although the Associate Member part of the onboarding checklist will change significantly, the Exploring Member part is still an accurate to-do list for this phase, with one notable exception. Which is that before being accepted as an Associate Member now, we need to be sure that there is an available apartment that is suitable for them, and that they are as confident as they can be that they can afford it. So am I right in thinking that we will be able to have this discussion with them between the 15th and 22nd?
Second, everyone on the waiting list wants a 1-bedroom apartment or a studio, with the exception of Florence and Thiery, who haven’t indicated. I will send them an email asking if they are still interested and what apartment size they want. For the others, I don’t think we can say at this point if there are any 1-bedroom apartments or studios available, as it depends on Oak Tree being confirmed and Els deciding on what she’ll do. So I propose that we wait until the 15th to contact this group, and put them into the post-presentation exploring membership phase, with the caveat that they are already assured of a buddy (having filled out the survey after the last presentation). Is everybody ok with that?

On the Nextcloud calendar, I’ve put the first three dates that we settled on (at the last meeting) for the regular Team R&O discussions (open to all FMs) regarding ongoing onboarding and applications:

When exactly are they meeting the confesseurs? What do we tell them currently about the prices? Because I guess they want to get an idea about the prices before the will apply for associate membership. I guess I can share the link to the excell calculation file?

I would tell them this: it looks like the available 3 BR apartments will be the ones on Obelix +1 and the one at the front side of Asterix (but please note that there is no full certainty yet). Els will calculate the price of these units in the next couple of days. If you are not interested in these units, better to wait until the 29th, and maybe a good idea to attend the presentation a second time?
Also, as a side note: if now they are counted as Exploring Members, I would recommend to put all communication on Edgeryders, and to stop using email.
From what it looks like now, I believe there will be one or two 1 BRs left, on Obelix +1 and maybe +2. I personally don’t see a reason to wait with this group. It’s the same situation as the one for the 3 BRs. It’s in our benefit save time and bring them in as early as possible.
About studios for now it’s hard to say something meaningful, but for now I would build on the assumption that we don’t have any left.
That seems too late. I can do one on the 6th in the evening and one on the 8th in the late morning.
The prices and the calculator they will get on day 1. There is a file on estimating the price and their financial capacity in the Onboarding Package.
Meeting the confesseur however is a different question. My father is complaining a bit that he is getting too many people (too early in their process).
I would say something like they need to be an Asssociate Member for at least a month, but other arrangements are certaintly possible too. Let’s give it some thought and if need be add it to the agenda of our next meeting?

I am meeting tomorrow with Axel and Joke. I guess you are referring to the excell calculation form made by Els, right?
I still need to update all the documents, so best to point them to Els’s latest calculator.

Social media is normally also done by team external, so mabye @manuelpueyo could post the message on social media and send out the newsletter at the same time?
I will take care of the usual websites (Samenhuizen, HG).
I used the term “social media” in the document title, but I meant to say Samenhuizen. So in practice nothing much changes.
For Facebook I now have the habit, so happy to continue it, though equally happy to pass it on.
