Some years ago when I followed a training on conflict management in cohousings, Mia from Okelaar recommended the video below. After what we have seen in the latest plenary session in which we had a group-supported mediation about the A1 issue, I am now even more convinced that this can be massively effective.
In sum, in the first 7 minutes of the video William Ury argues about the importance of the surrounding community when two parties are having a conflict.
The rest of the video speaks about the conflict in the Middel-East. It pre-dates so many wars that it hurt my heart quite a bit, but I nevertheless go touched by the story he shares about the power of hospitality.
