Hi @amiridina glad to count you in for sunday… just to get an idea on how it works you can check what my daughter drew (https://github.com/demetramonaco/virtualdrawings/blob/master/Paesaggio%20fantastico%20e%20bello.jpeg) and what it looks like when uploaded on kuula and shared here on edgeryders. During the webinar we will do together all the steps from basic concept to publishing. I will show both the paper and the digital way. It will be fun and an opportunity on visual research for prescholar education and parenting about digital collaboration and virtual reality
cool. As a matter of personal taste, maybe you could change the green background to the blue from the logo? But that your call
Sure, you are right! green is the colour of VR…but is definitely strong… sunday we can ask what colour too… I think Syd deserves a much relaxing tone of green…
Hi @MariaEuler,
how are we going to onboard and connect participants to the webinar? By pinging them in advance and providing the link with some instructions? just trying to figure it out in advance.
We are using the RSVP function therefore we can share the link in public here.
Only those whose Edgeryders Handel’s are put on the list (just shot one comment here) can join. So it is safe
Will of course also send reminders out to everyone on Saturday and Sunday.
Pond @stefanoboski could you give this a little last push for more people to see it and maybe join on Sunday?
It is focused on families with children between 5 and 13.
No problem! I will add some extra posts to the schedule.
Reminder: the prototype webinar for ViConnect takes place today!
Let’s help Syd to see Europe through VR drawing made by hand!
Looking forward to seeing you later today
Syd is looking forward to connecting with european kids in one hour
Hi @MariaEuler i’m online and can connect to room anytime …ready to work with participants here https://awwapp.com/b/ufnoyi2xnwlhi/
The first meeting meant for prototyping and test interoperativity among videocall system, resources (kuula, awwapp, edgeryders itself) and people (including a 7-year-old child) happened sunday and everything went smooth, except for the number of participants. A rethinking of advertising the event, the information provided, the payoff for participating, and the possible user (children , grown, both, …?) has been given a proper attention. @MariaEuler thank for your precious support and for testing the workflow. I’ll be back soon with some improvements and possibly with more people willing to join in for a next prototype event.
Thank you @federico_monaco for your great initiative and work.
Regarding the better communication of the event. We would like to tell a story about your work and motivation.
For that I would like to interview you about this and your other projects. Would you be up for that? When would suit you?
Hi @MariaEuler,
how would you like to run the interview? written or by a videocall to be recorded?
It could suit friday 9th, possibly through the afternoon, or next week.
Hi @MariaEuler, hope you are doing fine. I would like to update the VR project, maybe for adults as well, and rework on the concept for kids.
Sounds good. What support do you need?
pibg @stefanoboski maybe you can help with the comms for this once its clear what Federico wants to do?
Absolutely! Keep us updated @federico_monaco and I can put some comms together once all the details for the next session are confirmed.
Great @stefanoboski! i’ll ping you and @MariaEuler as soon as i have some updates to work on together.
