Continuing the discussion from Weekend getaway!:

Hi @reeflings, I guess we all remember the enthusiam when @reef-communitylife tried to organize a weekend getaway in September that we unfortunately couldn’t make happen because we didn’t find a suitable venue in time.

But there is good news! We are are very excited to announce that we just started organizing ourselves for a Weekend Getaway Winter Edition early 2025 :snowman: :snowflake: :sun_with_face:

First step: let us know your availabilities. The sooner we agree on a date, the sooner we can start looking for the perfect location.

…Pending the team retreat in New York, that was not planned yet and might affect my plans in that periods.

Also weekend of 25 January might be my concert in Brussels, which would make a good Reef social!

I’ve been excited about this concert for quite awhile, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one :slight_smile: If that date gets confirmed, we can take that weekend out of the mix…

Could the others (@Perrine @Christian @RichardB @MariaAM @Hannah @ugne @manuelpueyo @Sarah @joannes ) also take a look so that we can fix the date?

@alberto @lee Could you take a look at the first poll and indicate if you will stay over for the night?

I am planning a trip to Spain in January and my family is planning to come at some point I’m February, so I’m not sure when I’m going to be available. I prefer not to fill in the poll with my availability because I don’t know yet. I will try to be there :slightly_smiling_face:

@reeflings: Thanks for filling in the poll. Based on your answers, we will fix the weekend of 14 February :heart_eyes:
In order to find a suitable accomodation, we would still need some additional information:

@Hannah : is Jeroen joining as well for one day?
@ugne : I just realized that you didn’t vote: would you be available for the weekend of 14 Feb, and if yes, could you indicate in the first poll if you would join for one or more days?
@Perrine @Christian @joannes : could you also have a look at the first poll and indicate how long you would stay?

More news on the practicalities will follow in the upcoming months :slight_smile:

I think it would be good to know how many children are coming and what the requirements are (separate room? Baby cot? etc…). Parents let’s hear you!

Hi @mieke , we (Christian, Charlie and me) would come on Saturday and Sunday (night in between included then!).
A separate room (for the 3 of us) would be usefull as falling asleep is always a complicated story for Charlie.
