Dear all, I just wanted to let you know, that I am with covid since Monday. So far, I have only flu symptoms - running nose, occasional cough, I am a bit more tired and my bones are aching a bit. It is manageable, however, not comfortable. Unfortunately, my daughter Lea has covid too - of course, without any symptoms and vital as usually (jumping around and talking non-stop). Her whole school class is now quarantined too. Thus, we have to deal not only with our covid-weakness but with home-schooling and a restive girl who is forced to be locked down at home. Such fun! :slight_smile: Take care and stay safe.

Hope you feel better soon Zdenek and survive the quarantine!!

On a side note, apologies but I won’t be able to make it to today’s meeting - we are traveling to Barcelona for christmas. Will read the minutes afterwards. Have a good weekend everyone!

Where are we? I am embarrassed, but I am not sure again…

Could you generate your link again please? The last one is not active anymore

Hi @rebelethno, hope you’re all having a lovely Christmas break and enjoying this time with your loved ones. :christmas_tree: :snowflake:

I assume everyone is taking some days off, I am just dropping this message here to see when will be the next time we plan to meet again and whether as ethnographers should work on anything specific (re>the report) / code categories revision, or just resume with the regular interviews? :slightly_smiling_face:

@Jan: Are we meeting tomorrow?

@Richard @jitka.kralova @Wojt @SZdenek @Jirka_Kocian @Maniamana @Djan Dear All,

Happy New Year! As some of you know, my family may have become a host to the lovely guest - the corona virus. We do not know yet for sure, because the testing system in the US is dismal. I am the first one who managed to get tested (two days ago), after many attempts and hours of trying, and hopefully will have my results today. Anyway, the last few days have been crazily hectic, as some members of the family have become quite sick.

I have not done the work I had planned. Wojtek took a 4-day vacation and decided to take his family to the seaside. A great idea! Have fun and rest! We will resume our work after Sunday.

I propose we do not meet this Friday. As for the ethnographers (Jitka’s question) please keep interviewing, if you can!

And Djan - much love and we all wish you a speedy recovery!

Please write, if you have nay questions. I am on my computer basically non-stop. We will start the semester on the 18th, but all the classes during the first 2 weeks will be taught online. So, yes… I will be at my computer. A lot!

Ciao,

Jan

Hello All, I am negative! Just came in. So it was hypochondria and/or panic. And, most likely, seasonal cold. Anyway, so far only one member of the family tested positive (our son’s wife, but he is negative!) and another one was too sick to get tested… It is a strange pattern.

@Jan @Jirka_Kocian @jitka.kralova @Wojt @Maniamana

I have found someone to cover Djan’s interviewing while he is on sick leave. She is registered on Edgeryders but can’t access the Protected workspace, where Djan has uploaded the transcripts he has done so far. Does anyone know how to grant users access to these workspaces?
