Hi @reef-building !

Now that we own the site, it would be normal operating procedure to change the lock on the gate, especially as quite a few people seems to have access to it.

I’m not sure what the nice neighbour on the left was using it for, but we might want to consider still giving him access until the summer. If it was just for parking (as opposed to dumping rubbish), it would be a means of maintaining our good relationship with him so far :

TB didn’t take it up so far, to keep access for the neighbour, who uses it for parking his van, his crane on wheels and rubbish
But yeah, maybe better change it.

@reef-building : i have a decent lock somewhere, with a four-digit code to open it (instead of a key). what about using that one? Easy to give people access if needed without needing to have someone coming to open the lock…

A numeric lock is such a good idea.

Yes, sounds good.
And definitely give the code to the neighbour I would say, although maybe starting to say we might start to use the site in the spring…? Which doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t be able to use it, but just that things might change a bit…

  • i found back the lock

  • can somebody go to Jette (our site) and replace the lock with the key, by this lock? (i’ll bring it to the plenary of 15/01, i will bring the key of the existing lock as well).

@reef-external : do you want to alert Yves (the neighbour who still has stuff on our site), i can do it as well, i’ve contacted him in the past…

Fyi. Serge asked to update the email adress of his account as he doesn’t want to use that email address any more. Alberto now changed it to a general email address for stekke and fraas. So addressing serge on ER should reach both Serge and Francois.

For me the francois account is not necessary any more (don’t know if @alberto ) will remove it, or if it will just stay there.

but anyway: make sure you definately address the serge account when you address the architects.

Two caveats:

  1. The username has also changed. No longer “serge” but “stekke_fraas”. The profile is here: Profile - stekke_fraas - Edgeryders
  2. They still need to validate their new email address so that it becomes associated to that account. This is not something we can do from their end, it has to be them.
