With there being a few more willing members joining this team recently, time to get an organisational thread up and running, where we can arrange meetings and discuss ongoing tasks… :slight_smile:

First order of business: let’s arrange a meeting and get on the same page about how we want to move forward and be as much of an asset as possible to the project. @Manoj and @Liesbet - here’s a poll to find out when the best time is for us collectively:

  • Wednesday 14 May (evening)

It’s just that I will be on holiday from 10-13 May and from 17 May to 1 June. As from 2 June I have many more availabilities :slight_smile:

First up, welcome to the team to @GaultierDWM :slight_smile:

There’s currently a poll for a Team Facilitation meeting, which will probably involve both Gaultier and myself. As soon as that date is settled, I will make a poll here for us all to meet. I’d ideally like to do that before mid June, as I will be taking a break to move house from about the 16th…

Hi team!

It would be great to have a brief online meeting before I take a break from 16 June, to get on the same page and think about how best to utilise this team for helping the project move forward in a harmonious way :slight_smile:

Was thinking about you and I meeting, to start building some momentum, but my day is rapidly getting away from me :-/ As you’re not available next week, our meeting will probably have to wait until July, after I get back from my moving break. There’s a presentation on the 5th and a plenary on the 7th… perhaps we can connect at one of those and see if we can settle a date shortly after that… :slight_smile:

Wednesday evenings normally don’t work for me. 12/6 would work for me but otherwise in July is fine!

Doesn’t look like this will happen before I take a break to move house, so it’ll be a meeting in July. Here’s another poll:

I think that based on this poll we’ll try to meet, even if it’s only two of us, and move forward from there. There’s lots of potential for this team to contribute positively to the project, regardless of how much or little conflict exists at any one time. Hopefully we can generate a bit of momentum, even as we head into the summer… :slight_smile:

Hi @reef-conflict management!

We’re meeting this Thursday evening, to discuss how we can generate some momentum and best contribute to the wellbeing of the project. There’s no formal agenda at this point, other than to discuss the coordinator role, clarify the purpose of the team and assign ourselves some tasks moving forward.

In terms of practicalities, we’ll start at 7.30pm and I suggest taking up Gaultier’s offer of having it at his place (as there are four of us, and Wenwei expressed some interest in being on the periphery of this group).

@GaultierDWM - does that still work for you?

Would it be an option to just meet outside at a bar or something? Place de la liberte, or wherever works for everyone. I will be flexible about that :smiley:
