For the Edgeryders Festival, community members and local contributors come together to plan and realise events like workshops and talks connected to their own interests as well as the Edgeryders projects Next Generation Internet, Wellbeing and Poprebel.
This call mainly focuses on Next Generation Internet Topics and is therefore directed towards future-oriented technology-related projects.
It is a #nospectators event: All activities in the program are built by the participants, for the participants:

This a community organised Festival. There is no jury deciding on which projects to realise, but rather a shared full discloser development including everyone who engages in it, through which the proposed events will be developed and the funding will be allocated.
As a community of over 5000 members in 80 countries, It is important to us that the festival is inclusive, accessible and useful to every single participant - no matter where they are located. Also, we would like to set an example for how you can organise events that bring a lot of people together from different places in ecologically ethical ways. So we offer support for anyone who wishes to set up local events in their community or organisation as part of the festival program.
We will then point you to the ongoing discussions and further lead you through the process.
(Join this community call on the 3rd of September 18:00 Brussels time to discuss more: https://zoom.us/j/560175544)
