Festival Coordination How-To (LEGACY)

The OpenVillage Festival is a no-spectator event. Everyone can contribute something, whether it is curating a track at the event, facilitating a session, making a video or helping to coordinate rideshares.

Here is how you can get started on making the best festival ever:

1. Introduce yourself / Propose a session: Click on this “Create a Post” link and write a little about who you are and what you are interested in. What would you like to explore at the OpenVillage Festival? Think format of what you want to do, how long you need and logistic requirements. If in doubt see this example.

2. Create or take on a task: Looking for something concrete to do? Write to community@edgeryders and we can find a  set of tasks you can complete in exchange for a ticket. Right now it’s local outreach & engagement, as well as design & storytelling.

3. Drop in our weekly team gatherings on Wednesdays at 18:00 CET here or contact community@edgeryders.eu.

More support! If your session or contributions around tasks are ongoing and producing results/ new content, you can write to claim support to come to Brussels. We have set aside travel grants for most active community members, to be given on a case by case basis.
